We're a small operator-led team that builds custom AI tools and automations for local service businesses. We don't sell data. We don't run ad networks. We collect the minimum we need to do the work and respond to you.

01Who we are

Konnectlinks is the data controller for information collected through this website (konnectlinks.com) and our direct communications with prospects and customers. You can reach us anytime at hello@konnectlinks.com.

When we build a custom system for a customer — for example, an automation that processes leads inside their CRM — that customer is the controller of the data flowing through their system. We act as a processor on their behalf, under the terms of our service agreement with them.

02Information we collect

We collect information in three ways: what you give us directly, what your device sends automatically when you visit the site, and what we receive from the tools we use to run our business.

Information you give us

Contact details
Name, business name, email address, phone number, and anything else you choose to share when you fill out a form, request an audit, book a discovery call, or email us.
Service request info
Details about your business, your goals, your current tools, and the kind of help you're looking for — so we can tell you whether we're a fit and what a system might look like.
Project & account info
If you become a customer: billing details, system credentials you authorize us to use, and any data you upload into systems we build for you.
Messages
The contents of emails, SMS messages, voicemails, and call notes we exchange with you.

Information collected automatically

Device & usage
IP address, browser type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, and time on each page. Used to keep the site working and understand which content is useful.
Cookies
Small files we and our analytics provider use to remember preferences and measure traffic. See Cookies & analytics below.

Information from third parties

We may receive limited information from the tools we use to run our business — for example, Cal.com when you book a discovery call, our email provider when a message is delivered or opened, or a customer's CRM when we're operating it on their behalf. We only ever use this information for the purpose it was shared with us.

03How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to inquiries, scope projects, and tell you whether we're a fit.
  • Build, run, and improve systems we've agreed to build for a customer.
  • Send appointment confirmations, status updates, and follow-up messages by email or SMS — see SMS messaging program for details.
  • Send the occasional update about our work, new content, or service changes. You can unsubscribe from any non-transactional email at any time.
  • Run the website: serve pages, prevent abuse, and understand which content is useful.
  • Meet legal, accounting, and tax obligations.

We do not use your information to train public AI models, sell to data brokers, or feed advertising networks.

04SMS messaging program

SMS Disclosure

By submitting a form requesting service from Konnectlinks, you consent to receive SMS messages from Konnectlinks regarding your service request, including appointment confirmations, status updates, and follow-up.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.

What you'll receive

Messages from this program are transactional — meaning they're tied to a specific service request, appointment, or active project. You will not receive marketing or promotional text messages from this consent.

How to opt out

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any SMS message we send you. We'll send one confirmation message acknowledging your opt-out, and then we won't text you again. To rejoin, text us back or fill out a form indicating you'd like updates by SMS.

Carrier note

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan. Supported carriers include AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint, Boost Mobile, U.S. Cellular, and most other major US carriers.

Phone numbers are not shared

We do not share, sell, or rent mobile numbers or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS consent and phone numbers collected for the purposes of SMS communication are not shared with any third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

05How we share information

We share information only in these limited cases:

Service providers
Vendors that help us run the business — hosting, email delivery, SMS delivery, scheduling, payment processing, accounting. They only get what they need to do their job and are contractually bound to protect it.
With your direction
If we're building a system for you, we'll connect to the tools you ask us to connect to (your CRM, your phone system, your email provider, etc.) so the system can do its job.
Legal & safety
When we're required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, or property.
Business transfers
In the unlikely event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all assets, information may transfer to the successor. We'd notify you in advance.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share information with advertisers for cross-context behavioral advertising.

06Cookies & analytics

This site uses a small number of cookies:

  • Essential cookies keep the site working — they remember things like which menu you opened or whether you've dismissed a banner.
  • Analytics cookies let us count visits and see which pages are useful. We use a privacy-respecting analytics tool that does not build cross-site profiles of you.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. The site will still work — you may just see slightly less helpful behavior, like a menu re-opening after you close it.

07Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to run our business. Each has their own privacy practices.

Cal.com
For booking discovery calls. They process your name, email, and meeting time.
Email & SMS providers
For sending emails and text messages to you. They process your contact details and the contents of those messages.
Hosting & DNS
For serving this website. They process your IP address and request logs.
Customer tools
When we build a system for a customer, that system may connect to their CRM, dispatch software, phone system, or other tools. We operate those connections under the customer's instructions and their privacy policy applies to the data inside them.

Some of our service providers may be located outside the country you live in. When we transfer information internationally, we rely on standard contractual protections.

08Data retention & security

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected — and to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. Typical retention:

  • Prospect inquiries that don't become customers: up to 24 months, then deleted.
  • Customer records: for the duration of our engagement and up to 7 years after, for accounting and tax compliance.
  • SMS opt-outs: retained indefinitely so we don't accidentally message you again.
  • Website analytics: aggregated and retained for up to 26 months.

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information — encryption in transit, access controls, and limited internal access on a need-to-know basis. No system is 100% secure, but we treat your data the way we'd want ours treated.

09Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct information that's wrong.
  • Ask us to delete information we no longer need a lawful reason to keep.
  • Object to or restrict certain uses of your information.
  • Withdraw consent for SMS or email communications at any time.
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@konnectlinks.com. We'll respond within 30 days. We won't discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

California residents: Under the CCPA/CPRA, you have the rights above plus the right to know what categories of personal information we collect and the right not to be sold or "shared" (we don't do either). You can submit requests through the email above.

10Children's privacy

This site and our services are intended for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we'll delete it.

11Changes to this policy

We'll update this policy when our practices change. When we do, we'll change the "last updated" date at the top of the page. For material changes that affect how we use your information, we'll do our best to give you advance notice by email or a banner on the site before the change takes effect.
